CAMP artists present an eclectic exhibition of wall based and moving image work.
We’ve timed ‘HOW LONG’ to take place during the British Art Show in Plymouth. A kind of ‘fringe’ event, though we’re not sure we like the term ‘fringe’. So if you’re coming along to ‘HOW LONG’ make sure you leave enough time to visit the British Art Show.
HOW LONG is an exhibition and programme of events loosely held together around the theme of time. CAMP members were invited to submit a wall based work for the exhibition, and detail how long it took them to make it. And alongside the 2d work we’ll be screening the ‘One Minute Film Festival’ – a series of over 40 one minute films by CAMP artists.

Sonia M Ahmad, Rachael Allain, John Baldwin, Ros Bason, Katrina Brown,

Join Rhys Morgan and his LGBTQIA+ Sea Shanty choir in a rehearsal workshop as they prepare for their debut performance. A chance to sing your heart out whilst queering the sea shanty!
As a queer person who grew up in a rural, coastal village, Rhys has always found shanties (which have their roots as worker songs, performed by ‘burly’ men) inaccessible yet still intriguing. The Queer Sea Shanty Choir seeks to reclaim a space for queer people within this context, through coming together with others to celebrate our identity and proudly present our own shanty songs.
The Queer Sea Shanty Choir have formed as part of Rhys’s work ‘Seaweed in the Fruit Locker’, commissioned by MIRROR as part of their Give and Takeover programme.
This is a unique opportunity to join the choir’s rehearsal and experience this project as it happens.
This is a queer friendly space of mutual respect and support, which for this workshop, is open to all.
