Call Out for Works for Exhibition, Plymouth, October 2026.
Before & After: Fragments of Origin
Our world is falling apart quietly. Human civilisation has reduced the plant, a four-million-year-old life form, into three things: food, medicine, and wood. In our relentless and ever-intensifying obsession with obtaining a higher volume, potency, and variety of these three things, we have devastated plant ecology to an extent that millions of years of natural disaster could not. CAMP members are invited to submit work in response to this call out and brief. Works will be selected based on criteria, including the response to the brief and the overall coherence of the exhibition. The exhibition will take place in the exhibition space at the Levinsky Building, University of Plymouth in October 2026.
The curatorial team are looking for works that respond to the brief and welcome submissions in all media including moving image, photography, print, sculpture, painting, text based work or performance. If you propose unrealised work, please give as much detail as possible on the application form.
Submission deadline: midnight 12th August 2026
