“A question if I may: Are you ‘failing’ quickly and regularly? I’m talking about the positive kind – loads of experimental failures in the studio, pushing, risk taking, getting No’s and rejection letters – because if not I would suggest you’re not in your ‘stretch’ zone. Sounds comfy but is this an issue? Well yes! Staying in your comfort zone in order to avoid disappointment and rejection will certainly harm and hinder your artist career, full stop.

But let’s face it, we artists are gentle, sensitive creatures and at times it’s hard enough to simply maintain enough self-belief to step through the studio door let alone add heaps of potential stress and failure to the list – that takes a super-strong person with a particular mindset.… surely?

So how would it be to have that required mindset? To have an understanding that means that disappointment and rejection slips off you like water off a ducks back?

Come and listen to what I learned around 7 years ago and that has rocked my world for the better ever since. All you need to bring is a full heart and an open mind – the conversation will be fun, challenge your norms, be mind blowing at times and you never know, it might, to your surprise, rock your world in time too!”
